General Counterplanning Examples

Problem Solution
Family emergency or severe illness Unavoidable and these are higher priority than work.
Something fun is coming up Make it work within the system. This isn't a one time thing.We're looking for long-term solutions. If it doesn't fit in the system, maybe it can be rescheduled or maybe it's not worth.
For whatever reason, I miss a target. Talk with team about what happened. No snowballing allowed. Quick reset and get back on Track.

Sleep and Wake Time Strict deadlines so have to stay up Be careful with planning so this doesn't happen. Go to bed on time and get up earlier if necessary. If unavoidable, do the work and eat the score loss.
Sleep and Wake Time Family needs help with something late at night. Ask earlier in the evening if anything is coming up to avoid this situation.
Sleep and Wake Time Catch a cold and want to sleep in. Suck it up and get up. Take a nap if necessary
